Premium Local Boned & Rolled Turkey Crown
We’re proud to work with one of the best west country turkey farmers; Colin Reason from Snapsey Farm, Bridgewater. Colin and his team are dedicated to rearing the most succulent, flavoursome and traditional turkeys on the farm and share our values for high standards and traditional husbandry. Their turkeys are fed on the finest locally produced ingredients. All turkeys are dry-plucked and hand finished to avoiding bruising or marking of the bird and hung in a chilled store for up to 10 days. This tenderises the meat and allows the full flavour of the bird to develop.
The crown is the whole turkey breast boned and rolled, leaving a joint of white breast meat. Quicker to cook, and easier to carve, a boneless turkey crown is a good choice if you don’t like leftovers! Cook a crown as you would a whole bird and add you favourite stuffing. A popular choice amongst those that favour light pure tasty breast meat. All of our birds are sourced locally and hand selected by us personally.
